Martin Weiss  (Owner)

Upon graduating Arizona State University with a B.A. in English in 1987, Martin Weiss founded a publicity firm representing actors, writers and directors and assisting unit publicists. For three years, he combined writing and entertainment experience to create a majority of Carolco Pictures’ feature film pitches (including Arnold Schwarzenegger’s TOTAL RECALL) for the 1988 American Film Market and compose production notes/biographies for numerous feature film presskits including RAMBO III and DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS. A personal triumph in October 1989, Weiss assisted coordinating publicity for the 44-Year Reunion of the FIRST MOTION PICTURE UNIT OF THE ARMY/AIR FORCE; attendees included President Ronald Reagan with wife Nancy, Hal Roach Sr. and, entertaining the troops as he had for so many years, entertainment legend Bob Hope!!!

Looking to expand his horizons, he landed an option on one screenplay, assisted casting and acted in motion pictures, television programs and commercials. In the mid 1990s, Weiss became a full-time manager cultivating relationships with top children's agencies, producers, directors, casting directors and other industry professionals. A second division of MWM assists specialty performers and cult film stars including Gunnar Hansen (the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre") and Judy O'Dea (Barbara from the original "Night of the Living Dead").

Weiss, in conjunction with his producing partner, Darian Weiss (no relation) recently established Two Weiss Guys Productions.  Late Summer 08, they plan to shoot a spec pilot based on Martin Weiss' comedy script "Our Family Spirit."

Weiss prides himself on his abilities to communicate with his young clients and maintain a get-up-and-go-for-it attitude. He works only with serious, dedicated actors who not only pursue their craft with vigor, they enjoy doing so... and he enjoys working with them.

Deli Schumichen  (Associate)

Deli Schumichen's experience as the mother of two child actors and one singer goes back several years.  Her daughter Jenna has appeared on stage numerous times with up-and-coming singing star Nikki Flores and has performed on "It's Showtime at the Apollo" and in numerous plays and singing venues.  Her son Joseph Aaron booked a string of national and international commercials and print jobs before taking a break to focus on his studies.  With his mother's help, Joseph also won a scholarship from the Young Artist Awards.

In her half-year experience with Martin Weiss Management, Schumichen has scouted successful new talent, helped long-term MWM clients with current projects, and proven highly resourceful in decision-making, demo-reel creation, and general assistance to all clients overall.
